FAQ

What are these “Miracle Fruit tablets”, and how do they work?

Our products are all-natural and made from the curious Miracle Fruit plant (Synsepalum dulcificum). The berries of the Miracle Fruit plant, when dissolved on the tongue, cause sour foods to instantly taste sweet. The effect is due to a chemical in the fruit called miraculin which numbs the user’s sour taste buds.

Are all of your products safe for consumption?

Yes! There are no documented adverse side-effects, and the taste-changing qualities of the tablets disappear within a few hours at most.

I’ve tried your products and love it, but what are some more practical uses of miracle fruit tablets?

Our customers love our miracle berry products, and use them in all variety of interesting ways. Although the novelty is as endless as the different types of food in the world, here is a brief list of some very practical and unique uses for the mberry product:

  • “Flavor tripping” parties. Slice up all varieties of food, invite friends, and let the taste-testing begin!
  • Diabetes management. Satisfy your sweet tooth without the worry of raising your blood sugar.
  • Chemotherapy treatment. Scientists found that miracle fruit was highly effective in increasing the taste of food for chemo patients, who often describe foods as “metallic” and “bland” after treatments.
  • Cheap alcohol becomes instant top-shelf alcohol!

Can I not just buy the fresh fruit?

We love natural, fresh foods just as much as you do, but Miracle Fruit berries must be kept refrigerated and last only 2-3 days before their expiration. For that reason, the mberry tablets were developed to provide a quick, easy, and long-lasting way to enjoy Miracle Fruit.

In addition to the rapid expiration of the fruit, having the extract in tablet form prevents you from having to scrape the pulp off a berry and spit out the seed. Needless to say, this leads to much more pleasant “flavor tripping” parties, where your guests can simply pop a tablet in their mouth and join the fun.
